i absolutely love all the street art and murals in madrid. the range of sizes, shapes, styles, mediums, and messaging give the city such a unique energy. here are some of my favorites!
just want to quickly highlight this little rat that i saw everywhere. i made 3 work trips to spain in 2021/2022 and even have a madrid :rat emoji: highlight reel over on instagram of all the times i saw this dude!
the way street art blended into storefront decoration was so good, and very often playful and colorful.
we even spent a quiet afternoon walking around the lavapies neighborhood just to see its murals and other large format street art.
